Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Project Manager is a key part of the team responsible for the excellent and efficient delivery of regional marketing solutions for our clients. The primary focus is on managing projects from start to finish, as well as supporting the team with execution responsibilities. This includes project timeline and budget management, creative freelancer management, vendor research & procurement, and correspondence with regional marketing program attendees. Additional areas of responsibility will be assigned as needed.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Develops and manages project plans using Smartsheet by incorporating timing, process, resources, communications, and risk management
  • Partners with the account teams to identify and manage project issues while driving projects forward
  • Becomes the timeline owner, communicating to team members and clients when milestones are slipping and works to develop alternative solutions
  • Hires and manages freelancers
  • Ensures that creative markup process is adhered to across the team
  • Recognizes risks/issues that need escalation, provides recommendations, and arranges for appropriate assistance
  • Builds financials into Smartsheet and ensures accurate invoicing from freelancers
  • Researches vendors for project execution, which could consist of studios/venues, photographers, caterers, and production companies
  • Secures and coordinates program details with many of the above vendors
  • Hires photographers and schedules physician interviews for Key Opinion Leader programs and utilizes Salesforce for data tracking/scheduling
  • Ensures that Relevate processes (Salesforce tracking, vendor hiring process, etc.) are followed when hiring and requesting payment for vendors
  • Provides exceptional customer service, by both phone and email, to program participants and clients’ field force
  • Assists with the management of program email logistics
  • Generates Salesforce reports as needed
  • Seeks opportunities to increase team and client satisfaction and deepen team, client and vendor relationships
  • Effects positive change in Relevate project management processes through personal effort and influence within team
  • Utilizes understanding of projects to assist in the evaluation and redesign of client offerings
  • Modifies core processes and supporting systems to optimize quality of service delivery

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university (preferably in Business, Project / Event Management or Marketing)
  • 3+ years of project management leadership experience
  • Prior agency or healthcare experience is helpful; pharmaceutical experience is a huge plus
  • Familiarity working within small / fast-paced / growth-oriented business environment
